Our local club held a Detail Day this past Sunday with Rod Kraft from Meguiars. Let me tell you, this guy was *great*! He took time off on a Sunday to spend quality time teaching us how to preserve and protect our cars' finishes.



And there was absolutely no pressure to buy! Plus he gave out lots of free stuff, including full sized bottles of product.



I've used Meguiars before but I'm now convinced that there's gonna be nothing else on Belle's paint from here on in.

Did he hand out any NXT? That stuff is pretty hyped up in the car care section of Miata.net! I bought a bottle, but haven't got to trying it out yet. Sounds like a good time!

He had a whole box full of those sample packs - enough so that everyone there got at least 3 or 4 each. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet either. Poured rain all day yesterday, had to work today, and now it's raining again.

Gonna get me some of that clay bar stuff too and get all that nasty deceased bug gunk and pollen and water stains off the finish.

I'm looking forward to some real quality bonding time with her this weekend.
