This happened to me yesterday. As I was driving the light started flashing for the OVERDRIVE. I pressed the O/D switch on the shifter and nothing happened. Turned the car off quick as I was rolling and was going to restart it in neutral to see if light went away but car wouldnt restart in neutral?? Pulled over restarted it in Park and it fine?? Light has flashed twice and after I restart the car it doesnt come back. What can cause this? Do all mazdas not allow you to restart in neutral while rolling?? If the car if parked and I start it in neutral then it is fine? but if I shift to drive and back to neutral and turn off the engine and try to restart it without returning to park then it wont start???
