560 SEC - 500 !!! HP

the 6.9 produces 600+hp and astronomical torque with just 2 low pressure turbos :) there is one such piece of pure insanity here in Australia.

This could be little bit off topic but you can go fast with diesels also :)

Engine modifications are (at least) much bigger turbocharger, cooler, selfmade intake manifold and very hard modified fuel injection pump. Exhaust manifold and camsafts are original. Also engine block, pistons, crankshaft and cross-rods are original. It looks like mercedes original turbodiesel engine is very heavy made :). Final drive is the weakest link...

Here in finland they call these +400hp mercedes diesels as "superturbos" :)
