How It Should Be!

Poor mans VW Golf,,,,,and so over priced? Another breathtaking statement. Hell, I'd rather have a VW Golf than an old mini. Again, it's the German engineering that blows the UK away. As far as hysterical, thats what a grown person looks like in an old miniature replica, of a real car, mini.

German engineering, only thing is they use Chrysler pentagon engines, assembled in Brazil by workers as young as 14, because it is very cheap to make them there, there then shipped over to be put in here, even the new Bini engine coming out soon is a French design, :-)

Again,I said German engineering. Better engineering, better car. In this case at least. Explains it's growing popularity.

What are you trying to say? Is it similar to a limy gonad? Shit Taffy, Fizzy told you to stop talking to me. You don't behave very well.

Please back up any contradictions you say that I made. As for racing, it is called street racing. You don't need a license for it. We have a local course with modest fee's. After six mini's I hope you finally got it right. But that sounds about right to me.

A roundabout, whoopy! Thats real world racing. I guess that's about all you can do in a go-cart mini. You also must smile when experiencing an exhilarating fart.

I don't have to back up any of your contradictions, they're all still posted right up here for all to see ! Or doesn't NVBell/Prodigy's news servers have that kind of retention ?

"After six mini's I hope you finally got it right. But that sounds about right to me."

What the **(k does that mean ? Sentences never begin with "but" "After six minis", that would be correct grammar the apostrophe denotes omission or possession ! If you're going to start rambling on about other peoples grammar and spelling, get your own house in order. What sounds "about right" to you ?

PLEASE rewrite the post so it makes a semblance of sense !

But Jim, you are an ass hole. I can start a sentence with whatever the f*ck I want to. What are you? Little Ms. proper. As far as the contradictions, yes back them up , because you are truly full of shit. There are none.

Ahhh, the televisual equivalent to the Sun. I've seen reports of a couple on mini2.com, but cars catch fire all the time. I'm sure good ol' Nickolette Cambell wouldn't have been hard pushed to find owners of any car who wanted to go on TV for two minutes of pikey fame and complain in hope of getting a free lunch.

I think with any car/boat/bike/tv/computer/horse/football team that the unhappy owners get the airtime. Remember also, nothing travels as fast as bad news.

The press are happy to bash something that has bought lots of jobs/prosperity and regeneration for a part of Oxford that was only famous for the Zodiac nightclub, pubs, drugs, currys & kebabs previously.

I wish I had someone to complain to everytime any of my old mini's broke down, didn't start, ran like a dog etc. (poor maintenance admitted).

It makes me smile this bickering when someone can get their facts so wrong, the Bini was engineered by Rover engineers in series of prototypes called the Mini Spirtual as in Spiritual successor to the original Mini Design.

were far from a finished article when BMW took over, they abandoned thier long awaited cereal box on wheels, the E1 to concentrate on the Bini.http://www.unixnerd.demon.co.uk/e1.jpgBMW kept the Rover engineers working on the project, they also needed these Rover specialists to build a production line at Cowley, BMW werent just gonna turn up and hope to assemble it without help from Rover! It was tested extensivly in the UK including a place near where I live, TRL, which just happens to be in eye sight of BMW towers, UK HQ.Production of the Bini started when production of the Rover 25/45 moved to Longbridge, Rover engineers still build the Bini to this day, they are also instrumental in the redevelopment of the car. Cowley has a long history of producing Morris Cars, and was were MG sportscars where also once built. I laugh when people pillary either way to be honest, The Mini is in my opinion one of the greatest cars, but not in the build department. The Bini is far from greatness, far from it, even the Renault 5 has more history and greatness than a Bini, look at the Renault 5 rallye for instance. The Bini is made by unhappy Former Rover employees that until 6 years ago where making the Rover 600, even if i wasnt a motor head, i would seriously consider not buying a Bini.

Jeesh, people are individuals. Individuals like different things. If we all liked the same things; cars, food, beers, wines, music, partners, films then we would be inanimate conforming automotons (sp?). I happen to have liked all the cars that I've owned; [1] Mini's, MGB, MX3, Ovlov 360 (it was fun int the wet), Passat 1.8 Turbot, Bini Cooper & Now a Bini Cooper S. I respect other peoples views and encourage their love and passion for whatever they choose as their item of affection. If you look at the first post in this thread and look at the root website for the piccy that was posted, you'll notice that its for a mini club which welcomes all, and does not persecute members if they own any brand that chose to sport the mini badge at that point in time. Luckily our local mini enthusiasts club has the same outlook on life and welcomes old and young metal with the respect both deserve. Our cars are not lifeless boxes that are farmed out to the masses, we all choose to cherish, modify, fettle, and generally socialise around the cars we own. As soon as people can see through the tossers like max out there who are just amature troll bait, and realise that we all share a common love and passion, then life will be so much better. No matter what you drive, may it be a rusty old 850 or a JCW Cooper S, you're always more than welcome to stop at mine for a coffee, and if I see you at the roadside I would always stop and offer assistance. Anyway, as you can tell, I'm just back from the pub, the pillow is looking inviting and the cat is looking far too settled in the middle of the bed. Apols for any schpeilling mishtaikes, but I'm not proof reading when focusing is a chore. See you guys around as I'm dropping out of here for the summer months to work on my little restoration project, allthough I may be back for advice if its forthcoming ;-)
