the celsior will look damn cooler on 18's or even 20's than the s**te fiesta's i've seen round my way recently! (on 18's i think 20's are actually bigger than a whole fiesta!)

Actually I quite like a big old barge with some power behind it. It's putting it so low you can't realistically drive it around and adding big shiny wheels with rubber band tyres that gets me...

My personal choice of car is sat on the drive and will never get silly tints, chrome or stupid, ride and handling ruining wheels. It's getting sway bars, polybushing, uprated torsion bars and some brake upgrades. All for the price of some stupid chrome wheels.

I agree not my sort of thing at all. I like my V8 barge, even if it's completely out gunned in the power stakes by the pimp mobiles.

yeah but that's for a different purpose! i wouldn't buy a celsior for track use! and i wouldn't lower it to the point where my spine got a serious beating! i only use my car to go to and from work and the odd long trek to car shows and stuff.

if i was gonna burn around a track do you seriously think i'd do it in a celsior? no i'd have an MX5 with similar mods to you steve but with a car that has the right wheels doing the pushing while the others do the steering :)

there's nothing wrong with any car if it has some nice wheels with a bit of lowering! i just think something as big as a celsior would look better on at least 18's than 16's they came with!

You really should take it to the track for a laugh.

But that will ruin the carefully sorted ride and handling that Toyota spent millions on refining.

I just don't 'get' big wheels.

Once the fueling is sorted I'd like to. Gearbox would probably disentegrate though, and it may not pass a noise test - probably have more luck taking the T5, but that wouldn't be as fun.

Last few years some mates have done a Nurburgring holiday in the summer, but due to other committments I haven't been able to go - if they do it again next year it may be the ideal opportunity for some fun!
