ignition switch/stearing lock

Aug 20, 2006 3 Replies

Hi

The ignition switch on our 92 open classic is getting temperamental. We have had a new key cut and given it a spray of wd40 but its no different, obviously something is getting worn. Is anything in there serviceable or do I just get a new from. If so any suggestions where from appreciated.

thanks

Gary

Hi Gary You would need to remove the switch to attempt a repair, and there's not much you can do with it other than clean it, I would change the ignition switch, Where are you located. Fitzy
