Re: speedo cable refitting

sorry, forgot to mention i did release the top engine steady and wedged the engine forward with some wood. will try going at it from underneath tonight....otherwise i was looking at removing the radiator as miniman suggested - seems a lot of work for a stupid little cable though.

As Miniman suggested, remove radiator, release top engine mount, pull forward, even with all this removed, its still a pain, good luck Fitzy

I do it by breaking the upper ball joint and allowing the suspension to drop down as far as it will go. The result is just enough room to get my girlish hands through the hole in the subframe that the driveshaft goes though.
