I plan to chane engine coolant myself. Does anybody know what max. temperature must be for sealant for drain plug located on cylinder block ?

You will need someting capable of withstanding about 95 DEg Celcius. Fibre washers, copper washers, & Teflon thread seal tape meet this temp requirement but my advice is just replace the drain plug seal with a manufacturers original part.

You can flush the coolant system ( block included) with out removing any plugs in the engine or radiator!
