Same here... amazing, isn't it; some of the most mocked cars of their respective times, and yet they have one of the best web resources out there. :-)

I've seen a couple of L & M plate Skoda Rapids. They should have died on late J early K plates when the Favorit took over. But they always managed to find really early, odd cars at the back of the storage shed at MB.
Aparrently an E34. The thread now includes a photo (not the car, but the model it is). Certainly is not an E28.

What he said. The 300zx motor is notoriously unreliable. If you want a jap hi po engine the rule of thumb is straight 6 and 2 turbos. Toyota and Nissan both make good ones.
