Hi there, i have a corsa b 1.2 16v and a yaris 1.3 16v colour collection, if these two cars went head to head which one would win and why?
Many thanks Ash

yaris because it wouldn't understeer to s*it into the first bend. really though who cares? there's probably a 0.0000001 sec difference if they were put on a track, taste wise the yaris wins!
now sell both and by the yaris turbo 1.5 on import ;) 150bhp!
Head to head in what respect?
Longevity? Performance? Running costs? Image? My opinion?
Define win? Looks, 0-60, handling, comfort, economy, pulling power, shagging room once you've pulled, tuning potential, amount of stick on crap available?
Collision?
the yaris unless your name is Kevin, in which case it would be the yaris with a corsa bodykit on it
Hopefully the Yaris.
Noooo if it was kev it would be a corsa with a mitsi evo bumper wouldn't it?
How tall are you?
*cough splutter choke cough*
Mr. Tea meet Ms. Laptop.
:)
but of course, but the bumper would be designed to fit onto a yaris in the first place :)
Head to head, everyone's opinion, performance wise? both standard, nothing done to them,
It would be a humourously slow race, with probably sod all in it.
Opinions are irrelevant: take both to Santa Pod, or similar, and drive them up the quarter mile strip.
According to official figures, donk output and kerbweight, the Yaris would wee over the Corsa, even if it's the tweaked 74 PS version of the donk.
performance?
I suppose you could race a corsa and a yaris allthough I suspect everyone watching would grow bored long before the 0-60/lap of a track was finished so no-one would ever know ;o)
seriously with this type of car it's reall irrelevant becausre the only thing your every likely to beat on the roads will be parked cars and (some) pedestrians.
If you really car about performance sell both and use the money to buy something with an engine large than my washing machines.
If your not bothered the surely all that matters is wich one you like the look/feel of.
If it was me and I had to choose then i'd sell both and go for a Yaris T import.
I went (as a passenger) on the pod in one that had minor performance mods and a 50 shot of NOS. It was astonishing :o)
150bhp standard + minor mods + 50 (ish) BHP = fun.Mason
Irrespective of the performance, the Yaris is a *MUCH* better car. Better handling, better ride, better build, etc. etc.
The Corsa doesn't really have any good points !
The Yaris consistently tops the best-of lists in it's class - they're amongst the best of the teeny cars.
The Corsa, er, isn't.
On top of that, the Yaris makes an extra 10bhp, and cracks the 60 dash in
11.5-ish (vs the 12-13 seconds for the *dismally* slow Corsa). The Yaris annihilates the Corsa in every respect !
Insurance, parts costs, dealer charges, price if buying used.
not even blue leds on the washers?
