But I saw that and thought of you, especially with the derv/petrol/derv switch within a couple of years. Long enough to get used to doing it different, but short enough to forget the change if your mind was elsewhere.

Three years into the Ka, one morning I absently mindly started a rant in the petrol station forecourt and then realised that I was trying to put the black pipe into the small Ford.
I never tried putting diesel into the Accord, but she preferred super.
The 9-3... hmm I'm filling so wretched infrequently that I'm all excited about diesel sniffing for the rest of the day, so far I've not put a petrol nozzle into the tank... so far...

Might be worth a go. Sometimes the silliest things happen. My old Estelle had absolutly no servo assistance on the brakes when i=20 bought it. ordered a replacement servo, it cost =A350 and when it arrived, before I=20 could fit it someone told me about perished servo vac line, and=20 replacing it a piece of microbore copper.
I did that, and suddenly when you braked it was like driving into a=20 brick wall. And that was with Estelle twin pots. God knows how much=20 improved Rapid 4 pots would have been.

Yeah it's worth a try. If I can get the original working properly, goodo. If not, it'll work very well as a swap in replacement for when the car is rallied, sorry, at off airport parking for a fortnight, eh? :)
