I'm liking a lot, but would structural strength be an issue?

BTW, structural strength needn't be an issue with them.
The Chassis is a big square made from huge girders, + two thin tubular roll over hoops bonded into the GRP body. I imagine that some more have been added along the extra length

Heh. You're telling me. He'd do much much better taking the engine out, selling it by itself and scrapping the Nova that surrounds it.
At a guess, that is - I've no idea if that engine is particularly desirable or not.

Well if you find a e30 325i in black with chrome trim in that kind of condition with nice alloys for £500 give me a shout ok, I would walk to the damn persons house to get it.

Just because it's shiny in the pics, it doesn't mean it's nice condition.
99% of E30s with chrome trim are rotted to f*ck now, and I wouldn't touch one with big wheels with Dervy's.The description reads like a chav's modifictaions checklist, ffs! - and as for the 'diamondbrite' protection, that's just a con to rip off people who can't be arsed cleaning and polishing their cars properly.... it probably cost around 50% of the value of the car to be done, too.

What SteveH is doing here (as he quite often does) is confusing how much he would pay for a car with what other people seem to be willing to pay.
I wouldn't give you more than £500 for any beemer.
Actually thats a lie, a friend of mine got a fairly low spec R plate 7series for a few grand recently, I might pay £1k for one of those in a couple of year's time.
