Cool! I love those cars. Is it definitely an injection one?

I ask this as I was always under the impression (impression given to me by my mate who's had a few Sciroccos) that the Scala (another special edition mk2 Scirocco) was purely made with the injection engine, and then he went and bought one with a carb'd engine. He thought it was going to definitely be injection, discovered it was carb'd, but decided to buy it anyway as it was *mega* clean.

Anyway, I had a feeling the same might have been done with the Storm, though I'm pretty sure all Storms were injection.

it is injection yes, but all that may need replacing as its got the common scirocco problem, rotted/rusted filler neck, anyone know best way of fixing/replacing this?

its quite tatty in places but very good condition in others, it just looks gawjess tho, its a pale silvery blue and has blue leather interior with blue carpet and a white headlining, momo steering wheel, electric windows, 1984 car lol, love the seats, the reclining function is just lovely, Ive never had a car which the driving position suited me so well ( 6ft6 )

Going to need lots of replacement parts for this I feel, so if anyone has a show condition engine I'll be interested.

also wanted, set of period alloys, nothing OTT but a nice set of golf specials or the same as what I have now, istr seeing them on golfs too..

first to go, O Neil sticker which has become part of the back window.
