I must be amongst the first people to have to have my driving licence replaced because it was too old.
The new card bit is totally different to the old one. It only has 1 picture of my mug on it for a start. Plus, its got a little embossed steering wheel and a high tech hologram.
It also has a load of other people's names at the top, including "Prawo Jazdy".
My licence was issued in 1976 do I win?

Not sure you're old enough to have gone down the post office and bought one without sitting a test like my Grandad did.
I was meaning photocard licences, I got mine just after they had been invented. The photo bit expires every 10 years and you have to pay a £17.50 tax to replace it.
DVLA write to you about a month in advance.
