Not again!
Oi, Kemp, bet you didn't manage that particular manouvre!

I don't beleive it did roll over.
Never tried a J turn in the Smart. Looking at that I never will...
I J-turned my last Range Rover leaving a garage I used to work at to go and get lunch.
When I returned all the mechanics were outside giving me a round of applause.
Turned out Tiff Needell had been on TG the week before saying "It's virtually impossible to J-turn a Range Rover without rolling it".
Was news to me, so I did it again.
Did one in a hired Fiat 127, many many years ago... Rolled it!

Used to J turn my Rover out of its space at the rented offices (council) we had every night, until the council wrote to us complaining.

Bet your RR didn't have a viscous center diff IIRC they took the front prop off.

I tried it in my old Impreza years ago, failed big time.
Easy in my Hybrid with fiddle brakes tho.
Just onto its side?
In news: snipped-for-privacy@4ax.com, Geoff decided to enlighten our sheltered souls with a rant as follows
You're right, you know, it didn't. The one I've got now has, so I don't think I'll be trying it.
