I have it set on Imperial mode :)

Erm, yea, airstrip, thats exactly where i was, certainly NOT on the bypass, cos that would be naughty ;)

Well quite, so you now can be sure that your car will do 62 mph, not too surprising as it ought to manage 70 on UK motorways.

Although, I seem to recall you mentioning you were going to test out the car / gps on a private airstrip, rather than the public road?

:)

And remember, no matter how fast you drive, there will always be either a white van or a green Ka behind, flashing his headlights so you can move over to let him past... :)

What if i'm doing over the 62mph you mentioned, the Ka would be at Vmax surely ;)

In the absence of your slipstream, maybe, but behind you, you're doing all of the hard work moving those nasty air molecules out of my way! :)

Also on the subject, can i now make it tell me where speed cameras are?

I use checkPOInt on my PDA, dunno if there's a PC version...

Hmm, don't know. Haven't used it myself with mine being down.

People have used it and said it worked great.

I shall have a look

Yep, pretty much a DIY PC Roadangel/Origin/Snooper Neo.

A Damned site cheaper if you have the PC and GPS, but a lot bigger unless you go for the car PC factory look install.

Excellent! Off to trough...
