OT new Job

Just thought i'd tell you all that i started my new job today.

Now working for quite a decent company who shall remain nameless upside of this is that i now have a LWB Sprinter at my beck and call and an extra few k a year which is going towards a "proper" car once i'm settled in

wife suggested buying a mini cooper convertiblei suggested divorce wife suggested an Astra sport i suggested fine but as long as i'm allowed a mk1 Astra to put the engine into :

Just well chuffed and thought i'd share my happyness with you :) expect lots of Q's on buying a proper car over the next couple of month

You're a Double Glazing fitter aren't you?

That might be almost as realistic a proposition as a V8 Punto.

Personally, I can't wait.

Nope my new line of work is based around the catering industry in a roundabout way

yeah well that was a bad idea although would have prolly reached fruition if it had been a fiat twincam (old skool) lump rather than a Rover lump

Glad to hear it

any best car in a 10-12k budget gen for fun and family duties ie 4 door big boot practical pram/shopping(got the van for ikea runs) and sommat the wife will accept

Catering... Roundabouts...

Burger Van?

I'll sell you a Citroen BX GTi for a few hundred quid. I expect you could tell everyone you were putting a Fiat Twincam in it.

You could spend the remainder on getting some taste.

The photocopier salesman almost became leader of the civilised world in a Kevin Costner movie.
