Playing with a new car

My mates building a 'busa powered one. Can't wait for a spin in that!

the mind constantly boggles as to whether the FWD audi tt would handle better than the haldex...

Either.

I could keep up with a V6 XR4i (a C plate 2.8 V6 to be specific) in a Mk2 Cav SRi (I bought the SRi from a mate who then went and bought the XR4i. The only guage that moved quicker in the Sierra was the petrol one).

Unless of course you think a Cavalier SRi is quick... ?

What about Speedster?

And that's exactly what'll happen ;-) They're quicker than you would ever imagine.

I can't remember the name of kitcar maker now. Its a new company, and he has the 9th one. R1 engine going in (well its in and running, just needed finishing off and SVAing). Are you saying it'll be different to drive to my

206 and that i might not have the skills to drive it like i stole it ;-)?

Make sure he checks the chain as some kits come with cheap underspeced chains (if it's chain drive still) thick and heavy isn't the same as strong.

I'm saying it's so fast your eyes won't be able to keep up to start with. Think about it.

150bhp 400kg 6 speed sequential 12000 rpm. Arguably ( for the sake of Burgerman, natch) it can use the power better than the bike could.

No chain involved if it's a Se7en type car.

It could be one of those off Kit Car Crisis right enough, in which case he has my condoloncies.

Only on twisty roads. Granted, with no traffic, on a twisty road, the car has the potential to romp away, but, throw in some overtaking and straight bits and the bike would be gone :-)

Ach....anyone can do straight lines ;-)

Kate Moss certainly can.

One of only two modern roadster softtops that I can think of that can actually look 'manly'. The other one being the S2000.

the latest S2000 with a removable hardtop is a very nice looking car, and the engine is almost unbelievable.

Yea, I can't believe they don't put a decent engine in either.

They don't have a lack of low down torque compared to other 2.0 NAs, they just have extra at the top. Its a fantastic piece of kit, you've just never tried one :)

Erm, I've tried plenty. I just find them dismal to drive in normal use.
