By itself, will almost certainly do nothing for performance.
go to another NG maybe, powerflow are ok, try that quicksilver exhausts company, they are pretty good...
You've hit the proverbial nail square-on there. Its also woth mentioning that fitting a K&N monstrosity in conjuction with the exhaust won't make any real difference either.
The OP didn't say what car, but if it's a fairly mundane car then selling it and buying the car he really wants will be much cheaper, and less painful. If it's a particularly nice car and the OP wants more poke, then fitting a blower will return the most bangs per buck (potentially literally ;-).
