my mate has a MR2 Turbo that will kill a scoob and an evo

> just not in the wet :)

Or the dry... :)

you aint driven a MK2 MR2 turbo? a MK2 MR2 turbo can pull more G into a bend than a scoob you know geek fact for you

A standard one, yes.

'Geek facts' are irrelevant, they're made up by people who work in glorified paper shops and spend their day reading the reviews in motoring magazines (and quick excerpts of 'Total Carp' when no-one is looking).

Got anything substantial to back it up ?

back up geek facts! sure have let me dig out the old junk laptop and look it up hehe

Scary ? That doesn't even look slightly grumpy :)

It's not like a Pagani Zonda which looks like an angry insect.

Fraser

The stills don't do it justice. Much meaner looking when approaching at a decent speed.

Reading the posts on here, one wonders if any of the posters have any experience of competition, or just tinker around spamming up road cars?

k

We can't all be F1 champ's like yourself.

lol, "pigged big time" ?

Do you actually drive on our roads, there are fk all 'pigs' around anymore. The majority of the traffic plods have all been replaced by little Neighbourhood Watch captains in white speed camera vans.

I haven't been pulled up for over 10 years. And it's not like I'm not trying my best most of the time :)

I got pulled twice in the first month after buying my Legacy.... mind you not been pulled since and not been fined at all :)

Forgot to say, I'm pretty sure they just wanted to know what the hell it was because the first time I was pulled they asked me what speed I was doing.... 40 I said. Strange how we couldn't catch you then. LOL made me laugh anyway, well once I was at home with my tube as a present and no ban.

To be fair they were in an Astra :)

I dont think you grasp my use of the term "pigged" do you? Doesnt make a lot of difference if you lose your licence through a camera or radar gun or being pigged in person does it?

k

Actually I do, but I take it you want to shift the goalposts slightly and make it all encompassing...

...and surprise surprise, there we go.

But you're right anyway on that one - it makes absolutely no difference to me. I drive fast, but I generally do so with a reasonable amount of care, discretion and attention - and I've not been 'pigged' by _any_ of them.

Good for you..............but if you want to drive fast, then why on earth do it on the public road, when there are plenty of inexpensive forms of competition you could get involved with?

Driving like this on public roads, seems to be more the pastime of idiot chavs, than the sort of thing a responsible adult would want to get involved with?

k

That sounds like a lot of effort when there is miles of road I've already paid to use.

I do it mainly, cos I want too, and also cos it annoys people like you :)

'cos it don't half make me smile, innit geezer.

So driving with "care, discretion and attention" is not a good thing to do ?

And what is the current benchmark for paragons of responsibility ?

A snivelling little knee-jerk reactionary fart on a newsgroup with a chip on his shoulder such as you ?

Don't make me piss.

Caught up with him on MSN a few weeks back, he does indeed have the grey Noble he used to harp on about with the track sump etc :-) And I think he had a 9000 2.3 HPT, I can't remember now!
