Wonder if he could have substituted in a Lexus 4.0/4.3/4.6 V8 (yes I know the caddy is meant for FWD so is better in a transverse position, but the Lexus V8 will rev to 6k in stock form on the auto box, so I reckon they could work well against a yank 8, even one as modern as the northstar.
