Whats the thing that looks like a mudflap half way up the car, under the sill, on the GM900?


Probably a mudflap. My "classic" 900 has them too.. looks like an extra mudflap to stop s*it going over the rear suspension or something like that..

Yep, same here. Saab must be the only company to fit mudflaps for the mudflaps as standard. :)

Orignially fitted for the 96, it was found in rallying they were retiring due to stones kncoking the rear trailing arms to pot... so they fitted flaps to prevent this! its stuck ever since, until the latest models.
