[slightly OT] Why are holidays always such hard work?

Question

Tomorrow I'm off on holiday down to goodwood for the festival of speed. (Yes I know)

So it's a nice early start to get down to Santa Pod for the Summer nationals followed by a night in a cheap motel, then move on to spend a few more nights in random cheap motels round Silverstone for the F1 testing (you can get good deals if you only spend one night in some places) before the trek down to Goodwood for Friday morning. Early starts, sandwiches and rain according to the weather forecast (though tomorrow is listed as dry so hopefully there will be some running). Sounds like one of my holidays, thankfully I'll have a couple of weeks to recover before I move.

Well I won't tell you what it's costing then with most hotels being £15.

Sounds good. Unfortunately, the wife wouldn't allow a holiday like that....

I'll have to be satisfied with a few days around Snowdonia on the bike this summer. When she's back at work in the 2nd week, I *really* need to sort out my garage, so I don't have so much to shuffle around to get at the Hongdou.

Then it's a driving holiday in Portugal in October.

Still have another week to book before the end of December - not entirely sure what to do with it, though.

No just the  site but booking well in advance. TheSilverstone tickets were only =A315 for the 3 days as well.
