Just been to Castleford and back - got hit by the most freaky storm - temp dropped below zero and you could see hail / snow driving across the road in front of you - when we hit the front it was really intense then just over as quickly.
Wierd.

Only one of the strange things about Castleford.
The hail storm hit York too, but lasted for just a few seconds.
Had some rain and a little hail arround 3pm. Nothing that freaky, just hard for a couple of seconds.
It continued moving east and hit Driffield for a comparable short period.
It didn't make it all the way here :-( I love weather like that (when I'm inside, and even better, in the conservatory).
