In the local shopping centre last week, Lexus had a stand showing off the IS250D.
Very pleasant place to be inside, if a little cramped in the back.
I got chatting to the sales lady showing it off and asked what I drove "Toyota Celsior, the import version of the original LS400, but it is a bit thirsty, I only get 23 to the gallon commuting and arround 28 on a long fast motorway run, but I won't tell you what speed"
Her answer was "Wow, you do better than me, I only get 18 to the gallon commuting, 22 on a good motorway run in my IS200".
The 220d was very nice, and with a quoted average 46mpg, but the price was a bit steep, even if I considered silly finance.
