Good to see that the meds are working. You now have enough self importance to post things twice to make sure they are seem by as many as possible.

Sadly enough it isn't only land lefrog but close to the complete European mainland.

Expect confiscation and a major fine if they catch you using it.

I don't have a speed camera detector - I do have a TomTom though - I assume that's ok?

Everything with "Tom" in it, is OK ;-)

I was fine at that. Until I got to a strangely designed dutch crossroads - imagine a noughts and crosses board where each line is a lane of traffic, and the middle square is a grassy island. I was going fine until I turned too early and ended up on the wrong side of the road, facing traffic coming from the other set of lights. It wouldn't have been a big problem if it weren't for the old Dutch woman who'd followed me ;).

Have you got a date for your appearance at the Ring? I have a friend who's a regular there and if your dates overlap it might be a good idea to meet. I've just got an appointment to visit him next week, so I can check what his schedule is then.

Not sure yet tbh dude, it depends where we stop on the way. It'll be

24/25/26 of June - one of those. But I'm not doing track attack laps anyway heh. Briskly, but not going for sub 10 mins Clarkson style hehe.

He says you're a bit early to meet him, he was intending to be there

28/29th he's one of the Ring's professional drivers but he's also got a day job so he's a bit tight on time this month.

This is a a short bit that mentions him on the electroweb:

Hmm do I recognise some names there from these newsgroups?

He is more than happy to chat to you in real life, so if you mail me at (at)hotmail.co.uk I'll give you his contact details. I know a few people who have taken him up as a professional at the Ring and been very impressed - he's a male Sabine, but nowhere near as good looking.

If anyone is looking for a professional Ring chaperone who won't kill them, get in touch via the same email address and I'll put you in touch.

At the moment he's driving a 307bhp BMW and offers people rides around the Ring. TBH I get enough of that sort of stuff when he takes me to the pub.
