Depends on the garage.
If you're silly enough to take it to a Vauxhall dealer, they'll just check a few things on a list, which may or may not be relevent.
If you sensibly use an Indy, just tell the bloke beforehand how "in depth" you want it. If you want him to check every single little part of the car, it's gonna cost some :)
As long as the handbrake works OK (ie, is capable of holding the car on a steep slope), it doesn't actually matter how many clicks it takes.
Take it to your garage, say you want a full complete service, inc fuel filter, plugs, oil, airfilter, etc. etc.
