Agh, what date is that I might be in Whitby. Need to find a pub full of chavs showing it as I can't believe a goth pub would show it with the volume up.

I believe there are various devices sold eg at high street electrical shops designed to solve this problem - people used to use "Video Tape Recorders", but nowadays the hard disk equivalents are proving more popular.

I know a couple of Merc 124 and 123 owners, a whole bunch of PT cruiser owners (seems they are better on fuel than hearses) and the statuatory hearse crowd. There is even one that looks like a cross between a victorian horse drawn hearse and chitty chitty bang bang and it is a one off custom build based on the proper original VPD Princess chassis. Modified if there ever was one.

A lot of the older goths tend to go for hotrods and are big in the rockabilly/pinup side of hotrodding and then there are quite a few the large Cadillac/Buick/Chrysler land yachts of the 70s. Some drive them as they are, others just slam them, but a few go for full on lowrider builds.

The average age of a goth is about 35, there a couple of great grandparents that attend whitby with all the generations. Most, like me are approaching or at least 40. But there is always a new generation. And kids from goth families don't tend to rebel to be different. They tend to be happy (with the odd exception of course) to fit in with the rest of the family, go to school, uni, get reasonable jobs/careers and spawn the next generation.

Surely the most appropriate goth transport. Have a modified Princess Hearse.
