Looks tidy though, I was following one of those that was being driven in a spirited manner the other week. Went rather well, tbh.

The chassis is great. It's let down by soggy suspension and lazy engines. But these days that's all easily correctable, I just dont have the time or money to do it. And I have no need for a sensible car any more, so the SD1 will be my main focus (along with Nat's Pug)

I'm in a similar boat. The Rangie is alive again, so it'll be taxed from the beginning of next month and will take over duties as "main wheels".

Mustard mitt though, the fuel gauge descends quicker than a skydiver with a malfunctioning parachute, averaging somewhere in the low teens at best. Put £10 in it before to take it to the MOT station and the fuel light was back on in no time at all. I really do need to sort out an LPG conversion for it.

Unfortunately, yes. It's pretty much spot on. Spent about a week last summer going through absolutely everything on it and getting it right. It's only done a couple of hundred miles since we finished setting it up and everything still seems to be right.

According to a road test of a similar one (Janspeed turbo converted 3.5) it should do around 14.5 mpg overall, as a standard non-turbo one is meant to average 15.4 this isn't so bad.

Hence the need for LPG.
