Yet I'm impressed with Bill Gates.
Wow, cars of the rich and famous.
The founder of Ikea - WTF is he doin....
In news: snipped-for-privacy@news.individual.net, NeedforSwede2 wrote something quite bizarre, possibly in an effort to confuddle the world. It went like so;
Can't argue with the 911s and 959s..
Imagine the Towncar is chauffeur driven - they're comfy enough in the back, just awful to drive
Flying Spurs have their appeal..
The Volvo is class, Christopher Walken, Paul Newman and Vladimir Putin also have them!!
No excuse for the Lincoln Continental though...
on the MSN main page they had that and a pic of each car, the volvo is comedy hehe
Paul Allen got it right i'd love a 959

I can.. the fact that 3 of those guys has a Porsche says it all.. it's like all the middle class "wear a suit, have 2.4 children, a semi-detached Barrett home and drive a BMW" clones out there.. if I were loaded I'd want to be a bit different.

Whaddya mean? Volvo 240 is class. SWMBO rolled one. :-)
Mr. Ikea driving a 1993 Volvo 240 GL? It's the only choice. Bet Abba is hardwired into the stereo. It'll have to be an estate an' all, to get all that amusingly-named flat pack gubbins in.
More importantly dude, I bought a Stagg ;-)
And let's not forgot the line of towels they do branded 'Sanni'.... (seriously)
Tinned chili ala student then? Beef, chicken or vegetable?
Heh - not quite :-)
Also, tinned chilli? I'm not /that/ poor yet!
Stagg Chilli isn't bad. Poor quality, but not bad taste.
A few months ago, I actually watched five minutes of a TV-documentary about him... seem to remember him driving a white Skoda Octavia. Showing off for the camera perhaps ;)

You might wanna look in UKRM, where DNC is flogging a 940GL for silly offers -
"Right, due to life happening when other things were planned, here's your chance, yes, you, you lucky thing you, to own a piece of UKRM History. Or something.
Volvo 940GL. Ex Eaton. It's big, fookin big.
2.3l petrol engine. RWD. Auto box. It has a towbar. It ran last time I ran it. It's almost the right colour. The tax is almost out. It's not MOT'd, although last time I looked there was nothing obvious needed, as Pixie Gingineering has done some nice work - new battery, new brake lines etc. It's got a JVC stereo in it, about a hundred quids worth. 5 wheels with roundy black things. Leccy windows. Heated seats. 1991 H Reg. Foxguard central locking alarm. A book of paperwork and manual and stuff. It's currently situated in the Flitwick area and needs to be shifted pronto. Actually, a bit quicker if possible.
I'm not asking a grand. Not even a monkey. I'll even leave the expiring tax disc in for you. (I have the V11 form ready to SORN or re-tax).
Make me an ridiculous offer, that includes a bottle of single malt for the Ginger one.

G'wan, you know you wanna, pimp it good :D
I would love to. But Flitwick is Luton way I think, and I really need a smaller car this time.
