I think the Haynes and Chilton books tell you how.

Drill hole in center, rachet in a lag screw, Pull it out using puller center bar OR use a punch or bolt around edges to punch the thing loose. Use vise grips to pull thing out

Its easy! Just knock in one side of the old freeze plug, and use a pair of pliers or vise grips to pull it out! Don't worry...its not going to fall inside where you can't get it out.

Are the originals leaking?

use a punch to punch the thing loose then use vise grips to pull it out...just be sure to use the better brass plugs when you go back and keep your antifreeze level correct and you wont have this problem again.
