Did you pay via PayPal? If so... you may be able to recover the loss.

If you paid via paypal you can DEFINITELY recover the loss. Even if you paid via CC/Debit you can still recover the loss. If you paid via anything else... not too sure if it'd be worth trying to get back for $50.. may cost more to get it back. I dunno. I'll be sure to avoid her though.. thanks. :/.

E-mail or call them and see about getting your money back. Give them all the contact info you have on the person. Never know she may be ripping someone else off, too.
Unfortunately I paid via Money Order. I usually use PayPal, but didn't put the $$ in my "Mad $$" account. :>(
I'm working "other" channels to rectify this situation.

This is why I use ebay. If a seller doesn't have 98% or better feedback, I wouldn't even consider their junk.

Contact the district attorney for the county she's in. If you used the mails, contact the US postal inspector. What you're stating may be a crime under state law and mail fraud under federal law.
I've actually done literally hundreds (500+ ??) Internet transactions and had very, very few problems. I used to deal in Vintage Mustang/Cougar parts, Antique radios, Tube type ham radios, Linear amplifiers, CBs, Crown Vic Police Interceptor parts and other antique stuff.
I'm very careful in the folks I deal with, but sometimes you just can't tell. I CAN say this is the 1st time I've been ripped off by a girl!
