How 2 Clear airbag code on a 93GT?

It might just be a coincidence with the radar detector. Have it checked first. Besides the code will come back if there really is something wrong. Just have someone check to make sure there really isn't something wrong. An unnecessary airbag deployment while you're driving down the highway for no reason, is not a fun way to end your day and could possibly kill you. Play it safe.

If the A/B indicator is flashing, you can watch and take note of the two digit DTC and report back. The code/codes come from the Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor which is obviously showing a system fault. In short, you may want to have it serviced by the dealer. I'll leave it at that...

** Ok guys. I left the radar detector on in my car and didn't drive it for ** over a month. Needless to say the battery was destroyed (shorted ** internally). I replaced the battery but now the airbag light flashes. I ** was told that the code that it flashes warns of a loss of power to the air ** bag module. I driven the car several times. That hasn't corrected ** anything. The airbag light still flashes the same code. Anyone else ever ** have this problem? Anyone know what to do to correct it? My friend says I ** need to take it to the dealer and use their computer to get the code ** cleared. Is that true? Any information appreciated.

Your codes were all cleared when your battery died and was changed out. Try disconnecting it again for 20 mins, then reconnect. If you're still getting a MIL, you likely have a sensor problem in the airbag system. Head for the dealership if this is the case.

It is very doubtful that leaving a radar detector on for a month would short out anything. The battery probably had a bad cell to begin with, but wasn't bad enough to notice yet. I've totally flattened dozens of car batteries with headlamps left on; a quick jump start and 10 mins of charging brings them right back to life with no ill effects.
