Intermittent wipers for 65/66 Mustang?

I heard this can be done using the parts from other vehicles.... anyone done it and if so, how?

True, but it didin't look anywhere close to original equipment... at least not the last time I looked at JCW. But thanks anyway.

There's nothing I've come across thats anything close to factory looking. I'm happy that they work at all on my '66!

An intermittent wiper setup on the early Mustangs. Isn't that the question you asked?

There are intermittent devices that can be wired in and placed in various locations, which are available from several mustang parts vendors, but all look cheap to me. I suppose if you were really good with wiring you could wire in something from another car, but that require cutting and splicing from the original harness....

My 66 already has them. Sucks getting them to work when you really need them!

Factory? Not possible, but your problem is symtomatic of the aftermarket stuff out there. Its nearly impossible to find reliable electrical upgrades.

Sorry, bad attempt at humor. My car's wipers are indeed intermittent, but they're not supposed to be. My wipers run slowly, then often stop. Since the car is being restored shortly, this will be among the very last things addressed before it's done.
