ABS warning lite stays on, but brakes continue to work well. any suggestions on troubleshotting the problem.

If you have the Haynes manual on page 10-25 it tells you how to troubleshoot. The ABS system has a diagnostic mode that you can go into and retrieve the codes for it.

May be a simple as not having the proper amount of brake fluid in the reservoir.
