Best steering lock

Can anyone suggest a good steering lock for a 1993 1l Nissan Micra (or else tell me which ones to avoid). We have a problem with car theft in our area.

One of those which cover the wheel might be best since they are so visible from outside and may prevent a break-in.

I use a device called the "Auto Lock". It locks onto the brake pedal and is difficult to remover with the key. Most steering wheel locks can be defeated by cutting through the steering wheel with a hacksaw blade. Keep in mind, the metal in the steering wheel needs to be soft enough to "give" upon impact, hence, easy to cut through.

Have any of you tried those Disklok things that cover the whole steering wheel? Evi

The ones that cover the whole wheel always get the best security rating in comparison tests.

Thanks for your ideas, everyone. Evi
