change Primera '94 frontdoor speakers

Sep 06, 2004 2 Replies

Hi, I would like to change the frontdoor speakers from my '94 Primera, but I can't seem to unlock the cover from the speaker. Can someone tell me if I have to unscrew the complete inside panel of my front doors to remove the speakers or is there a way to let it stay on and remove only the speaker cover?

Thanks in advance! Patrick

Hi,

I have '96 primera made in Europe and if I wanted to change the speakers I had to unscrew the whole cover from the door. I think you have to do the same.

Good luck! Mateusz

Yes 94 UK model here. You have to take the whole panel off. Beware though, there's a little plastic paw thingy to hold the door trim rigidly in place. It makes it a little difficult to remove the door trim, and the first time I tried, it snaps off.

Its just a little white plastic piece you can screw on and screw off, so Im sure you can buy one from a scrap yard or something.
