I thought that this was a newsgroup to discuss Nissan.
My Nissan uses oil as a lubricant. And a supplementary coolant of course.
Maybe those folks who want to argue over and over again the

The oil argument routinely pops up in all the .auto chats. It's the same silly questions with the same opinionated responses.
I read them, to see if any new aspect comes up. If it does, I try to research it thoroughly before forming an opinion. I'm retired, but not too old to learn.
