A friend of mine is selling a Nissan Pathfinder that he purchased in Oct. 99 and he told me that due to the month it was purchased, it's really a year 2000 model. Is this true or is it still a 1999 model?
Thanks.

i have a 1994 nissan pathfinder with a door sill plate saying september
Yep but I always consult the EPA sticker under the hood. It should say what year the emmissions are rated for, which is always right. The title can easily be wrong.
Look at the VIN on the vehicle. The eighth digit from the end is the year digit.
99.5
It will have some 2000 parts.
