1995 Nissan Maxima digital lock / horn problem

I need some help with this. I tried to open my driver's door with the key and my horn kept blowing and now I cannot get into my car because it honks whenever I try. It's got a digital lock and I have no idea how to get into my car. Does anyone know the answer to this? How can I stop the horn from blowing whenever I try the key.........thanks.:o

This may not help but I'll tell the story anyway...

I had a 1996 Audi A4 with a very similar problem. The alarm system/immobilizer system started working backwards. When I unlocked the door it would set the alarm and immobilize the ignition. When I then opened the door, the alarm would sound and I couldn't start the car. I finally figured that I need to open the driver's window, get in the car (with the alarm system sounding) and then reach out the window and lock the car from the outside. That would de-activate the alarm and immobilizer so I could finally drive it to the repair shop.

Turns out that some water had gotten into the alarm control module and shorted out the circuit board. With the Audi it was an expensive repair, as they all are.

Good luck
