When should the timing belt be replaced on a 2000 Maxima GXE? Does it have a belt or a chain? Does it have an non-interferance engine? My Maxima has 75K already.

Interference engine, but with a chain (actually three). They don't have to be replaced.
The 2000 Maxima has a timing chain which does not need replacing unless, god forbid, it breaks.
