here is a quick and detail order of events.

  1. car sat at job for about 3 or 4 days.
  2. two days after first drive, on highway driving about 70mph, car starts to choke as if its not getting fuel.
  3. four days later, car shuts off once at a light and once during a u-turn.
  4. next day, car wouldn't start.
  5. installed new batt, starter, and fuel filter. now, car still will not start. when i attemp to start the car, what i hear is the starter spinning, not engaging the fly wheel. my father says that the starter is engaging the fly wheel and that the engine won't turn over because its not getting fuel. now if u know where the fuel reset switch is let me know, i ck the trunk, under the back seat and floor board on the passenger side. also, if u have any knowlege and or had this situation occur to u, please past on some idea(s) as to what i'm doing or did or miss.

There is a fuel pump fuse. You should have pulled it to relieve pressure when you changed the fuel filter. Did you put it back in?

yes, i did replace the fuse, in fact i changed the pump too. but here's one for u. i took the starter back to the shop i had it rebuilt. this is the

3rd time i took it back, and they just notice that my the drive was turning counter clock wise, nissans maxs turn clock wise......do anyone know of this for a fact?
