I got in my car tonight to go home from a friend house and my ABS light was on. I drove the car today with no problems and no light. I stayed at my friends house for about 2 hours and went to drive home and the light was on? any idea what this could be? what should I do to get this solved? do I need to take it in to nissan? or can my normal mechanic take care of this?

this car is a 2001 but it only has 25k miles on it. still think this should eb the case. I really doubt the pads are wown, and I doubt even less the break fluid is bad, what do ya think? I'm kind of a novie when it comes to cars but I know a little bit about them.
