HELP!!

Has the car been in a wreck before? I had bought a 2001 Chrysler Sebring about a year and a half ago. two weeks after I got it the oil pump went out, got that fix and after that found out that I needed new hub bearings and a strut tower. Just this week we had a hail storm got some damage and when the insurance adjuster came out and checked out the car, he pointed out that the car had been wrecked before. As for the dealership, I had my oil pump fixed at the Chrysler dealership, and less then six months the bolts on the oil pump came loose and some fell out. That's when I found out that dealerships are independently owned, and as nothing to do with the brand of vehicles they sell. Just a bad dealership, that just wants more money before they fix the problem. They should have fixed what was wrong with it before they sold it, but why when they can sell it and have you pay for it. It's just bad business.

- One door only? Door 'satellite' might be wet, wirings pinched, oxidized groundins etc... The driver door has the cotrolling transmitter, control to doors goes via low 5V datalines. Low charge voltage and/or any minor 'disturbance' sinks the dataline voltage levels unoperable. Separately wired 12V supply to door sw&motor may also be lost. Something is not quite right about that car. 1995-99 Maximas are very reliable and trouble free. What is the history of this vehicle? And what was the dealer trying to fix when he replaced the ALT, plugs and ignition coils?

If you replaced the master door switch then the wiring in the passenger door must be bad somehow, or maybe simply un-hooked. Take the door pad off and check it.
