hey, anyone with and older maxima? i have an '85 nissan maxima and i just replaced the crank angle sensor and now i tested my ecu and it says my idle switch is bad. Anyone know where i could find an idle switch, also my engine temp is always high. i have also replaced my ecu. when i start it right away wants to die so i have to stay on the gas. and if i shift into drive or reverse and have to come to a complete stop it kills. right now i am just trying to drive it like a stick. i dont have a cat or O2 sensor on it but that shouldnt be the problem, it just started doing this when i fixed my crank sensor and it hasent had an O2 sensor on it in years.
