Why type in capitals and in rubbish English? If someone wants to fit one then fine I have no objection. It might even save some petrol which is even better.

Yes but what model of thingummy jig is it for heaven's sake? You need to pick up a signal from a petrol flow sensor and one from the speedo at the very least I would have thought. But without knowledge of the type of gizmo that you're trying to fit, it's a bit like asking how long a pice of string is.

I'm not familiar with the display on the 406, but the 605 controls the information display with a button on the end of the wiper control stalk. The 605s that do not have the information display (fuel consuption etc.), but only clock and outside temperature, do not have the extra button.

Check your manual and see how the information display is controlled, and whether you have the necessary controls installed.
