My blower now only works on settings 3-5. I'm assuming it's the blower resistor. Anyone know where this is located? Thanks a lot.

I have a 2001 Malibu with same problem. It is the resistor and IF it is where mine was located you have to remove the panel behind the glovebox.
I'll check it out. I should just go to the library and look in a Chiltons too. Thanks

my 99 sunfire is the same, haven't gotten around to looking for the resistor. Is it as easy as soldering in a resistor, or do i have to buy a module and plug it in/
Blower resistors are plug and play. It sorta looks like a relay with the cover missing. GW
I'll get to it on Saturday and let you all know.
