Creatards vandalize the Prius

I don't drive one, but you can be sure "conservative" scumbags are behind most of this. Those patriotic citizens who think conservation is a sign of financial and moral weakness. They never quite wiped out the Bison but they tried. Now, they think an invisible God owes them a living at the expense of nature. Gluttony is a virtue. Ego-maniacal pride is a badge of honor. You know the types.

Pragmatic idea:

If you want to buy a hybrid while avoiding the wrath of anti-ecology Creatard vandals, look at the 2010 Ford Fusion hybrid; a very decent car that gets 40+ MPG with 191 total God-fearing horses.

However, Ford uses Toyota's hybrid drive system with a "weak" Atkinson cycle engine, etc. It also has leaf emblem on the trunk badge, which might anger some selfish far-Right sack of garbage. But that's a good thing. Let them perish from high blood pressure at the thought of people actually respecting natural limits and conserving fuel.

Old conservative adage: waste not, want not. New conservative adage: waste a lot, want more.

And who's politics were to blame when my late father's full-size Detroit car got its rear window shot out with a BB gun 30 years ago? Or was it just kids who weren't grown up yet out? Remember, nobody even knew what a Prius was then - and hybrid cars weren't even on the market, either.

- your source for hard-to-find stuff!

That's a sketchy analogy at best. Many vehicles get hit with projectiles for many reasons. But these econo-cars are being targeted for what they represent, which is conservation and an attempt to do GOOD in the world. There is justifiably less pity when some fat ego tank gets smashed up (though it gives environmentalism a bad name). The problem is that "conservatives" constantly forget that they stand for greed, gluttony and rampant takings, not goodness and intelligence. They can't stand the idea of altruism.

"Conservatives" respect nature like rapists respect women.

It's not uncommon for kids or young men to drop rocks on cars from overpasses above motorways here in Australia, and in gun-crazy USA, one can easily imagine the same crowd shooting at cars.

Just curious, are these cars built by American car manufacturers?

Maybe you're wrong on the motive...

As a conservative, I love Priuses. That way you can identify the trend following losers. Those cars are mostly plastic made from petroleum. They are loaded with petroleum oil and grease. Hell, they even run on gasoline.

And don't people that buy them get a tax credit? If I'm paying for someone else's car, I own a piece of that car. Maybe I should be allowed to break off a piece of one...

Yeah, they're the ones not driving Priuses.

Yup, you're a conservative alright; you guys just love to display your ignorance. Or is it that you're not ignorant, but are lying?

There is no tax credit for the Prius; there used to be one for certain hybrids, but not any more. There is a tax credit for all new cars right now; it's part of the stimulus plan.

Typical right-wing attempt at humor.

In your case, neither; right wingers are incapable of either.

How is killing Bison political? Enviros are conspiracy theory machines.

The Bison were largely killed by indians for white men, who shipped the meat west. Bison are cattle.

Interesting conspiracy theory but dead wrong.

Very weak. I give it about a C-. Put a little more time and effort in to it next time.

I see. Only liberals are allowed to be environmentalists. Take your bigotry and shove it.

Because many of theplains tribes were dependent on them. Eliminate a major food source...

west. Bison are

Cite for that nonsense?

The tax credit is nice but it isn't the reason to buy one.

In Ontario Canada, they still have the tax credit for hybrids.

The tax credit is for vehicles that run on alternative fuels (electricity, propane, natural gas, ethanol etc.). See this url:

I made up my mind to buy a hybrid and finding out that there was a tax rebate was a bonus. I just like the Prius and all of its benefits and accessories .

Well good for you. I think people should buy the car that they like the best. It's my firm belief that cars define you. And that people that don't think cars define them don't realize that they do. Obviously you have a passion for your Prius.

I'm a car guy as well. I have a 4th Gen Camaro SS ragtop and a 66 El Camino. And an electric car.

Which makes you a trailer trash blonde named Donna.

well, to be fair, the 87 El Camino would be driven by Joy.
