Hello, i have got a 95 from 98 with almost 300k km. Do i ever have to change the automatic transmission oil. The manual says not, buth i can't imagine that the oils stays ok for almost 300.000 km. Anyone?

Just guessing really. Is there a dipstick with which to judge the oil condition ?

I can't imagine a change would actually hurt if you're concerned though.

As soon as you change it the transmission will give up on you

fluid. If it is red in colour then leave it in, if it has turned brown it needs changing. Do make sure when changing that you refill correctly, go by the makers instructions, they need to be accurately followed. As a check measure how much comes out and make sure at least that amount is replaced.
