FS: 1992 Saab 900S (Milwaukee)

I have a 1992 900 S Hatchback (So it has the alloy wheels, sunroof, spoiler, etc) that I have to sell. You can't put two baby carseats in the back of these, so I have to buy something boring. I'll be upfront, there are two problems that have mattered at all to me, the A/C is dead and there is a brake shudder. I'm not sure exactly what's wrong with either, but the brake has been this way unchanged for several years with no issues, and the A/C isn't worth it to me. You could use this as sharp looking basic transportation, or, as much as it pains me, as a parts car for your Saab. The engine and transmission are in great condition, 180K miles, and the standard maintenance has been kept up, so if your powertrain is in bad shape, here's a good option. I have records of the work (although I did some myself, so there are only parts receipts for that). Email with any questions or for pictures, and here are the vitals. I'm asking $2000, and I'll need to hold on to it until I buy a replacement, hopefully in the next few days. Contact me soon and we can go ahead and make all the arrangements.

5 speed manual trans. Grey exterior Dk Grey interior Leather seats (drivers leather on base is torn) 2.1 liter engine (not turbo) Drivers airbag Hatch lifts are only 5 years old (I replaced them) Power doors/windows/sunroof Aftermarket 6 disc CD changer I will leave in if you want it Located currently 16th and Wisconsin (near Marquette)

If anyone wants me to take a look at this car, I drive past there twice a day and would be happy to give my opinion. My email address is real.

Mike,

You most certainly *can* fit 2 carseats in the rear seat on these. I know because I owned a 1990 900 back when we had babies. Before you part with the car and, as you say, get something boring try looking at a few different car seats. The back seat of a C900 is not *all* that small.

I have 2 grandchildren and 2 car seats in the back of my conv 1992 900s. They actually fit quit nicely.

Sad to say, carseats have grown over the years. The only place we can fit the infant carriers is in the center position.

Are you talking about lay down baby capsules or what? I had two new Aus model baby seats in my 81 900T with an 8yo child in between them until quite recently. I agree a capsule will only fit in the centre *if* the front seats are right back, else two will still fit. Dammit - must be time to amputate those legs .... Cheers
